The master. The TriangleART Maestro is closely related to the Master Reference turntable and our flagship Ultimate, using the same one-inch thick top deck machined from proprietary alloy, but in a more versatile size and weight. The Maestro is by no means light, though, weighing 80 pounds. The very high mass ensures smooth operation and defends against vibrations that can reduce audio fidelity. The shaft and bearing are stainless steel, chosen for low coefficient of friction and durability. A Teflon sleeve bearing is employed to virtually eliminate friction and diamond coatings are used on the axial ball bearing and thrust washer for a lifetime of maintenance-free performance. Hydraulic pressure is used to ensure the continual lubrication and reduce weight on the ball. These materials are extremely stable, non-reactive, and will not corrode. The Maestro highly recommended with our Horus 9” tonearm (Horus 12” tonearm also available) and silver tonearm cable. The heavy-duty AC motor can be specified for 115V/60Hz or 240V/50Hz. An optional Optical Speed Controller is available. Cartridge not included.
